Job Summary
Serve as a technical expert for organization-wide security engineering initiatives.
Develop a set of security standards and best practices for the organization and recommend security enhancements to leadership as needed.
Assist in the development of strategies to respond to and recover from a security breach.
Assist with data forensic capabilities, cyber security research and development, and the Information System Security Engineering (ISSE) programs.
Assist users with the installation or processing of new security products and procedures.
Answer questions related to information security practices and standards and address non-standard issues.
Minimum Qualifications
* Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree or higher and
* Four (4) years of information systems security engineering or directly related experience or
* An equivalent combination of education and/or experience is required.
* Valid driver's license and proof of automobile insurance is required.
Preferred Qualifications
* One cybersecurity certification such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
* One (1) year of full-time work experience working on information security projects, cyber security threat intelligence programs or data forensic programs.
* Work experience utilizing National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST); Payment Card Industry (PCI); Healthcare Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) laws; or Criminal Justice Information System (CJIS).
This position is considered a safety-sensitive position.
