Solution Architect - Strategic Accounts Sales, US Digital Power
Schneider Electric has an opportunity for a Solution Architect as part of our Strategic Account Organization in the United States.
Given the national scope of the role and associated travel expectations, preferred candidates will be based near a major airport with convenient access to domestic travel.
The Digital Power organization is looking for a Solution Architect to shape early design decisions by driving the technical design and specification of sophisticated power monitoring and control environments-with a credible, consultative point of view that turns ambiguity into integrated, multi-system solutions and deeper strategic account partnerships.
The Role
This isn't a role for someone looking to execute a defined playbook.
The environments this role supports are moving fast-from advanced, precision-driven production operations where an interruption measured in seconds carries real cost, to highly regulated, life-critical facilities where continuity is a matter of safety and compliance, not just uptime.
Infrastructure demands have outpaced the frameworks most organizations use to manage them, and the customers building and expanding these facilities are dealing with a level of operational complexity that goes well beyond traditional power management.
We're adding a Solution Architect with dedicated focus on these environments because the conversations happening at our most strategic accounts require someone who can walk in with a credible point of view, not just a product catalog.
The right person will understand the environment well enough to reframe how a customer thinks about a problem before they've decided how to solve it.
This role reports directly to the Director of Strategic Accounts & Segments and works in close collaboration with the Digital Power Strategic Accounts commercial team.
It's a nationally scoped position with significant customer-facing travel at roughly 50%, and the autonomy to manage your own priorities across a portfolio of segments that reward initiative.
What You'll Actually Do
The work centers on three things:
Shape the conversation before the RFP
Our most strategic accounts already have commercial relationships with Schneider Electric.
Your job is to deepen those relationships by earning a seat at the table earlier, during the planning and design phases where the real decisions get made.
You'll be working with both facilities and infrastructure leadership and the technology, quality, and compliance stakeholders who are increasingly influencing how these environments are built and operated.
Solve problems that don't have a clean answer yet
The facilities these customers operate are at a point where the operational boundaries between systems are blurring.
Power, environmental controls, and digital infrastructure are no longer managed in isolation, and the customers who recognize this are looking for partners who can help them think through what that means.
In environments where an outage can halt a prod...
