Analyst, Credit Management
* We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Bilingual Collections Analyst to join our Finance team.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of customer accounts, driving the collection of outstanding receivables, assist in resolving account disputes, and supporting the organization's cash flow objectives
The successful candidate must be fluent in both English and French (written and verbal) and possess strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
This position requires regular interaction with customers and internal stakeholders across Canada.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain a portfolio of customer accounts to ensure timely collections of outstanding balances
+ Contact customers via phone, email, and written correspondence in both English and French
+ Analyze aging reports and prioritize collection activities to minimize delinquency
+ Partner with Project Managers, Sales, Claims and other internal departments to resolve account-related issues.
+ Review customer payment trends and identify potential collection or credit risk and alert the NAM credit team
+ Recommend appropriate actions on overdue accounts, including escalations when necessary
+ Maintain accurate collection notes and account records within company systems
+ Support month-end activities, account reconciliation and audit request as required
What's in it for me?
* Minimum 3 years of experience in Collections, Accounts Receivable, Credit, or a related finance role.
* Fluency in English and French, both written and verbal
* Strong knowledge of accounts receivable and collection practices
* Excellent negotiation and customer service skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
* Experience working with SAP (S-4Hanna) is ideal - but not mandatory
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
* Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
* Essential to work independently, while collaborating effectively within a team
Preferred
* Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Experience supporting customers across Canada in a bilingual environment
* Knowledge of credit risk assessment and deductions management
