MTM Transit, in partnership with the Salem Area Mass Transit, is looking for Full Time Drivers to operate the ADA Paratransit, Shop & Ride and Fixed Regional routes in Salem, OR.

We currently have training classes that start every other week!

What you’ll need:

Experience, Education & Certifications:


* High School Diploma or G.E.D.

equivalent


* Must be 21 years of age or older


* Must possess a valid Oregon Class B CDL with an air brake & passenger endorsement or ability to obtain


* Valid U.S.

Driver's License for the past 5 years


* No more than five (5) moving violations in three (3) years


* No more than two (2) at-fault or chargeable accidents in the past five (5) years


* No suspension or revocations of driving privileges within the past (5) years (This does not pertain to any commercial or CDL downgrades.)


* No conviction in the last 10 years of: a felony, drug and alcohol offense.

Reckless driving, hit & run, leaving the scene of an accident, negligent driving, driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, vehicular assault or homicide. 


* No DWI/DUI charges


* Must be able to pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug/alcohol screening


* Must pass criminal background check investigation & Motor Vehicle record check


* Valid authorization to work in the United States


* Must provide a resume with a minimum of 10 years work history
