Kenton County Public Library Job Title: Outreach Youth Programmer Position Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt Branch: Covington, 502 Scott St., Covington, KY 41011 Pay Range: $18.03 - $25.45 per hour Work Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week), with a schedule that may include any day of the week, including days, evenings, weekends, and the holidays the Library is open.

We are seeking an Outreach Youth Programmer that is excited to connect with K-12 students and their families and deliver library resources to the community in flexible and innovative ways.

If you are passionate about literacy, libraries, and building relationships with schools and families, then this may be the perfect opportunity for you! What Youll Do Visit community partners such as public, private, and homeschool educators and administrators to connect patrons with library resources and experiences.Provide school visits, book talks, classroom support, and curriculum-connected programming.Promote both Outreach Services and KCPL as a whole through the promotion of library cards, digital resources, literacy initiatives, and student access to library services.Coordinate classroom collections, educator requests, and rotating deposits for schools.Support school and community events, including literacy nights, resource fairs, and family engagement activities.

Track and report service outcomes and community impact, assessing the needs of the community to allow for improvement in programming, collections, and services.Collaborates with staff throughout KCPL for system-wide and team projects Performs other job-related tasks as needed to support Library operations.
