Job Description Summary

This is a highly skilled position involving the operation of off-road haul trucks in an open pit mining operation.

Applicants must have experience operating haul trucks, rock trucks, articulated dump trucks, or similar heavy equipment.

Starting Pay: $18.00 per hour.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities


* Perform daily pre/post-trip inspections with proper documentation.


* Safely and efficiently operate off-road haul trucks in quarry and mining operations.


* Transport materials throughout the site while following designated haul routes.


* Report equipment issues and safety concerns to management.


* Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements


* Must be at least 18 years of age.


* Must pass a drug screen and background check.


* Experience operating haul trucks or similar heavy equipment.


* Strong safety mindset and ability to follow MSHA/OSHA guidelines.


* Reliable attendance.


* Ability to work in extreme temperatures and lift up to 50 lbs.


* Willingness to work nights and weekends as needed.

Education/Experience
