Lead Spray Tech - EMTS
REPORTS TO:EMTS Branch Manager, Account Managers & Product Applications Manager DIRECT REPORTS: Any spray technician or teams responsible for applications of products under EMTS.
Primarily the grass application technician, the flowerbed application technician, the south city application technician and maintenance crew members when pertaining to product application.
GENERAL JOB SUMMARY The organization and execution of all products applied by EMTS.
CORE AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY 1.
Perform the physical labor required to complete daily/monthly/yearly application requirements needed to achieve completion goals.
2.
Ensure that all work performed on a job site meets all safety standards by self and all team members.
3.
Ensure that all work performed on a job site meets all quality standards by self and all team members.
4.
Ensure that all work performed on a job site meets all product usage standards by self and all team members.
5.
Ensure that all work performed on a job site meets all efficiency standards by self and all team members.
6.
Organize, execute and supervise all the physical labor required to complete daily/monthly/yearly application requirements.
7.
Understand the daily/monthly/yearly product application needs.
Know what properties are getting product, what kind and why.
Lead other application team members in the organized completion of the applications needed on these properties.
8.
Communicate with Account Managers responsible for properties prior to any product applications for confirmation or possible reschedule.
9.
Understand entire team product needs for daily/monthly/yearly applications.
10.
Keep track of current inventory.
Know, organize, manage and distribute all products used by the applications team.
Product inventory needs to be at a minimum stock of what is needed for 2 weeks.
Do not hold or store products that are not being regularly used.
11.
Order product as needed based on scheduled property needs for daily/ monthly usage.
12.
Distribute product as needed based on scheduled property needs for daily/weekly usage.
13.
Ensure that products are properly distributed and used based on application, property, contract and scheduled plan needs.
Mix and load all applications tanks as needed to confirm proper use rates.
14.
Ensure that all spray/spread equipment is in good working order and is calibrated on a daily/weekly basis for accurate applications.
15.
Purchase inventory to execute application equipment repairs to ensure proper working and calibrated equipment.
16.
Repair or supervise the repair of all application equipment.
17.
Ensure all California, County and label regulations.
18.
Regulate product container storage and disposal.
19.
Regulate all safety supply and inventory of required PPE gloves, glasses, boots, coveralls, uniforms, product labels, tank tags, backpack tags, decontamination kits and needed supplies for the applications team.
20.
Distribute all required PPE stated in #19 to all applications team members.
