What You Will Do



* Demonstrate the ability to read and interpret isometric drawings, piping layouts, blueprints, and specifications.


* Install, assemble, maintain, and repair piping systems in an industrial facility.


* Perform steam tracing and small-bore tubing installation, including measuring, cutting, bending, routing, supporting, and securing tubing in accordance with project specifications.


* Install and maintain steam supply and condensate return tracing systems used to provide freeze protection and maintain process temperatures.


* Work with tubing, fittings, valves, supports, and related components associated with steam tracing systems.


* Identify proper routing and installation methods to avoid interference with existing piping, equipment, insulation, and other trades.


* Perform field measurements and make necessary adjustments to ensure proper fit-up and installation.


* Inspect completed work for proper alignment, supports, connections, and overall quality.


* Follow all site safety procedures and project-specific requirements while working around operating equipment and piping systems.


* Maintain regular and reliable attendance and work scheduled overtime as project needs require.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)


* Previous industrial pipefitting experience.


* Hands-on experience with steam tracing and/or small-bore tubing installation in an industrial or refinery environment.


* Experience measuring, cutting, bending, routing, and installing tubing and associated fittings.


* Ability to read and interpret isometric drawings, piping layouts, and project specifications.


* Knowledge of pipefitting tools, tubing tools, materials, fittings, valves, and proper installation practices.
