Project Order Specialist

The Project Order Specialist is a key point of contact for internal teams, distributors, and customers throughout the order lifecycle.

You will manage complex order requests, coordinate issue resolution, support distributors, and ensure accurate and proactive communication.

As routine order maintenance transitions to distributor self-service, you will focus on complex, high-risk, and non-standard requests requiring sound judgment, cross-functional coordination, and detailed follow-up.

What will you do?



* Manage customer orders from order entry through shipment and post-shipment support.


* Monitor order and shipment status, identify potential risks or delays, and proactively communicate updates.


* Coordinate complex or high-risk requests with manufacturing, logistics, technical support, sales, and other stakeholders.


* Manage the change order process, including validation, approval, documentation, and communication.


* Assess and coordinate customer and distributor expedite requests.


* Facilitate the resolution and escalation of blocked orders, delivery constraints, shipment issues, and customer concerns.


* Support distributors with order-management tools, processes, and complex inquiries.


* Coordinate warranty claims, product returns, shortages, shipping discrepancies, claims, and debit memos.


* Review requests for accuracy, completeness, policy compliance, and required approvals.


* Identify recurring issues and contribute to improvements in processes, tools, communications, and training.

What qualifications will make you successful?

Required


* 1 to 5 years of relevant experience in customer service, order management, sales support, logistics, supply chain, project coordination, or a similar field.


* Experience working with ERP systems, order management tools, or customer portals.


* Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.


* Ability to manage multiple priorities with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.


* Customer-focused, proactive, and able to work independently.


* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Preferred


* Experience in the electrical, manufacturing, distribution, or technical industry.


* Electrical education, product knowledge, or related industry experience.

The expected pay range is CAD 75,200 - CAD 112,800 per year.

This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives.
