The Maintenance Technician has the responsibility to oversee and troubleshoot all operational, utility and maintenance related issues as it relates to the preventative, routine and emergency maintenance of buildings and equipment.

Pay: Based on Experience

Shift: Night shift 6:00PM-6:00AM, 3/2/2 schedule

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


* Perform duties related to preventative, routine and emergency maintenance of buildings and equipment.


* Troubleshoot and repair packaging equipment, including: Fillers, conveyors, labelers, sleever, metal detectors, case packers, case tapers, blenders, bearings, pneumatic controls, packing, seals. 


* Monitor pressures and flow rates of equipment.


* Must be a team player and show a positive attitude.

Work well in high stress, fast-paced environment and have a sense of urgency when issues are brought to your attention.


* Keep Management informed of potential issues.


* Must follow all the Lock Out Tag Out and Hot Work procedures.


* Assist with plant audits as needed.

Qualifications:


* 2 – 3 years previous Industrial maintenance experience preferred or equivalent skills in a food processing plant.


* Strong mechanical aptitude.


* Desire to learn, show initiative and able to pass Forklift License Certification.
