Work you'll do

As a Commodity Trading & Value Chain Optimization Senior Consultant on the Enterprise Operations & Risk team, you will be responsible for:


* Lead analysis across the commodity trade lifecycle to identify process, data, and control improvement opportunities


* Support value chain optimization initiatives across downstream oil and gas and other commodity-intensive sectors


* Analyze commercial and operational data to quantify value and support performance improvement recommendations


* Lead workstreams with client stakeholders and Deloitte teams to align deliverables, timelines, and implementation needs


* Develop client-ready analyses, presentations, and pursuit materials

Qualifications

Required:


* Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, or Economics


* 4+ years of experience in commodity trading, value chain optimization, operations, supply chain, or consulting


* Experience across downstream oil and gas functions, including refining, shipping, storage, marketing, or commodity trading operations


* Experience across the commodity trade lifecycle, including deal capture, scheduling or nomination, pricing, settlements, or market or credit risk exposure


* Experience creating analyses, presentations, or financial models used to quantify business value


* Ability to travel 75%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.


* Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
