Scheduling Assistant

Essential Functions: Organize, implement and maintain scheduling management system supporting identified projects and their plans.

Log all information into database and provide scheduled reports for contract coordination and reporting purposes.

Interact with customer and project staff to schedule work and coordinate assignments.

Interact with project team to define scope of work; develop and update detailed schedules; cost information and identification of variances from original plan.

Generate forecasts, variance reports and other documentation to evaluate project schedule progress and performance; identify developing problem areas.

Analyze critical path and constraints to determine effect of changes to schedule and make recommendations.

Research and report on factors that may impact project success.

Evaluate current procedures and recommend changes to improve efficiency of processes Understand and utilize standard planning and scheduling processes and tools.

Prepare plans and schedules for small and routine projects.

Competencies General office skills to include telephones, typing, and filing Knowledgeable about general business operations Excellent verbal and written communication skills Thoroughness Ethical Conduct Supervisory Responsibility This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment This job operates in a clerical, office setting.

This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, scanners, and copiers.

Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required.

This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position.

Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.

to 5:00 p.m.

Overtime may be required as needed if teams are out on a project in the field.

Travel No travel is expected for this position.

Required Education and Experience High School diploma or equivalent.

Bachelor's degree preferred.

At least 2 Years of related experience required.

Work Authorization Must be able to work for any employer in the US.
