This is a role well suited for a highly motivated student looking to build their skill set and gain hands-on experience.

As an Electrical Engineering Co-op, you will be responsible for:


* Development of low complexity printed circuit board assemblies, FPGA designs, and test fixtures.


* Development of test firmware/scripts for automated testing of assemblies.


* Development of engineering tools, databases, websites, and hardware infrastructure needed to support the engineering environment.


* Integration testing of new hardware/software releases with thorough documentation of test results and written report summary.


* Creation of defect reports and verification of fixes.


* Calibration and field return analysis.

This position may suit you best if you are familiar with what is below, and would like to develop your skills with Healthineers:


* Education focus in the following areas: signal processing, analog or digital circuit design.


* Working knowledge and use of computer system hardware, operating systems, application software, drivers and peripherals.


* Familiarity with engineering tools and test equipment is considered a plus.


* Experience with FPGA hardware and programming in VHDL is a plus.


* Experience in Microsoft Office products.

Required skills and education to have for the success of this role:


* Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program, majoring in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science (rising senior preferred)


* Minimum 3.0 GPA (preferred)


* Registered and eligible to participate in a co-op through your university
