What You'll Do

As an Occupational Therapist, you'll help residents develop or regain the skills they need to safely perform everyday activities and maximize their independence.

Responsibilities include:


* Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans


* Provide skilled therapeutic interventions focused on ADLs, functional independence, safety, and quality of life


* Monitor resident progress and modify treatment plans to achieve optimal outcomes


* Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, therapists, and other interdisciplinary team members


* Educate residents and families on adaptive equipment, home safety, therapeutic techniques, and strategies for greater independence


* Participate in care planning and discharge planning as appropriate


* Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
