What are we looking for?

The Corrosion Manager will perform the routine duties necessary to ensure that laboratory services are of the highest quality, and to ensure that such services are provided in a timely, safe, legal, and ethical manner.

Under moderate supervision, to perform the routine duties necessary to ensure that laboratory services are of the highest quality, and to ensure that such services are provided in a timely, safe, legal, and ethical manner.

Specific Responsibilities


* In consultation with Program or Senior Project Managers, designs laboratory programs, set deliverable timelines and continuously gains experience in project management skills.


* Develop a thorough understanding of Company's technical capabilities.


* Discuss technical issues with Program or Project Managers, Lab Supervisors and lab technicians.


* Provide technical oversight and coordination of project engineering work.


* Submits Laboratory Work Instructions to Lab Managers or Supervisors.


* Monitors progress against project schedules and budgets.


* Responsible for preparation of technical reports as well as other project specific documentation as required.


* To assist in the training of less experience employees; be a mentor.


* To carry out the above responsibilities, and all others which may be assigned, in a manner demonstrating support for and adherence to the Company's Safety Policy and Procedures, Quality Policy and Procedures, Ethics Policy, Environmental Management System, Vision and strategy, and to exercise good judgment, commons sense, and diplomacy in so doing.

Qualifications


* Ph.D.

orMS in Chemical or Petroleum Engineering, Chemistry, or other relevant scientific degrees.Ph.D.

and 2+ years industry experience is preferred.


* Must have a grasp of industry accepted experimental protocols and ability to process and QC experimental data.
