Position: Restorative Aide / Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Job Type: Full Time
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
Pay: $15 / depending on experience
Sign-On Bonus: $3000 for FULL TIME

Position Overview
The Restorative Aide / CNA works as part of the nursing team to help patients maintain and improve their mobility, independence, strength, and ability to complete activities of daily living.

This position assists with carrying out individualized restorative nursing programs in accordance with NHC procedures and applicable state and federal regulations.
Restorative Aide / CNA Position Highlights
Responsibilities may include assisting patients with restorative programs such as:


* Range of motion exercises


* Ambulation and exercise programs


* Mobility assistance, including wheelchairs and walkers


* Activities of daily living


* Bathing, grooming, and dressing


* Bladder and bowel programs


* Communication skills


* Pressure injury prevention


* Reality orientation


* Restorative/Rehab dining


* Sensory stimulation


* Encouraging patients to achieve and maintain their highest practicable level of independence and functioning


* Documenting restorative care and patient participation as required


* Communicating changes in a patient's condition or abilities to the appropriate nursing staff


* Assisting the restorative nursing team with equipment and resources used in patient programs


* Providing compassionate, respectful care while maintaining patient dignity and safety

Qualifications


* Current Tennessee Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required


* Previous CNA experience preferred


* Restorative nursing or rehabilitation experience is a plus


* Must have an interest in working with geriatric and rehabilitation patients


* Ability to follow individualized restorative nursing plans and established procedures


* Strong communication and teamwork skills


* Dependable, compassionate, and patient-focused
