Job Description:

Responsibilities:



* Assist in prep work for breakthrough value stream kaizen events including baseline data collection, time observations and process mapping as assigned.



* Participate in and Facilitate Practical Problem-Solving Initiatives and Kaizen Event/Bursts/Go-gets following MasterBrand Way as needed.



* Manage Standard operations documents including creation and updating of Standard Operating Sheets (SOS), standard work packets and TPMs among other documents.



* Audit Kaizens, Standard Processes, Standard Work, LPA, and DM Boards as directed.



* Interacts with multiple layers of management in identification and resolution of any issues that may arise during standard operations creations and update.



* Perform all other duties as assigned.

Specialized Knowledge:



* Exhibit knowledge of the Masterbrand’s 4 Basics; Safe and Clean Workplace, Quality at or above expectations, complete on time delivery and Fashionable products at fair price



* MBS tools: Time observations, 5Whys, Process Mapping, TPM, Standard Work, LSW etc.



* Knowledge of Workplace Organization and Visual Controls (6S)



* Microsoft Office experience (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

Education:



* High school or equivalent, associate degree or higher preferred.
