Key Responsibilities

As an Occupational Therapist, you will:


* Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans designed to promote independence and functional recovery


* Provide evidence-based occupational therapy interventions focused on ADLs, mobility, safety, and quality of life


* Supervise and provide clinical guidance to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs)


* Monitor resident progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate


* Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, rehabilitation professionals, and other interdisciplinary team members


* Participate in care planning meetings, utilization reviews, and discharge planning


* Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation


* Educate residents, families, and caregivers regarding treatment strategies, home safety, and adaptive equipment


* Provide caregiver training and support successful transitions to home or the next level of care
