Roseville Care Center is looking for a compassionate, dependable, and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our nursing team on a part-time basis.
The RN is responsible for supervising and coordinating day-to-day nursing activities during their assigned shift while ensuring residents receive safe, compassionate, and high-quality care.
This position works closely with the Director of Nursing (DON), Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON), nursing staff, physicians, residents, families, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.

General Purpose
The primary responsibility of this position is to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of the facility during the assigned tour of duty in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, regulations, and facility policies.
The RN is responsible for helping ensure the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Nursing Care
* Provide and supervise direct nursing care to residents as needed.
* Make rounds and observe residents' physical and emotional condition.
* Monitor changes in resident condition and promptly notify the physician, responsible party, and Director of Nursing as appropriate.
* Review nurses' notes and documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
* Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility policies.
* Start IVs and obtain specimens for laboratory testing as ordered.
* Monitor medication passes and treatment schedules.
* Assist with the admission, transfer, and discharge of residents.
* Work with physicians, residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team to develop and maintain appropriate plans of care.
* Assist with monitoring residents who are seriously ill or require additional observation.
* Ensure residents receive care consistent with their care plans, wishes, and individual needs.
Leadership & Supervision
* Assist with the overall supervision and management of nursing staff during the assigned shift.
* Provide direction and support to LVNs/LPNs, CNAs, and other nursing personnel.
* Make assignments and help ensure adequate staffing to meet resident care needs.
* Conduct nursing rounds and monitor staff performance.
* Promote teamwork, professionalism, accountability, and a positive work environment.
* Address and report staffing, performance, resident care, and operational concerns to the Director of Nursing.
* Maintain a calm, respectful, and supportive atmosphere throughout the unit and shift.
