Avaition Maintenance Technician - Heavy MX MRO - Richlands, NC - $15,000 Stipend - $12,500 Sign On
Apollo MedFlight is seeking a skilled Heavy Maintenance MRO Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT) to join our Maintenance team.
This position performs scheduled and unscheduled heavy maintenance, major inspections, repairs, alterations, component changes, and troubleshooting on Company aircraft in an MRO/heavy-maintenance environment.
The Heavy Maintenance MRO AMT is responsible for completing assigned work in accordance with approved maintenance data, Company procedures, applicable regulatory requirements, and established production schedules.
Work may include aircraft disassembly and reassembly, detailed inspections, structural and systems repairs, engine and drivetrain maintenance, avionics/electrical troubleshooting, flight-control rigging, modifications, and return-to-service documentation within the privileges of the technician's certificate.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Perform scheduled heavy maintenance inspections, major repairs, alterations, modifications, and component replacements.Perform aircraft disassembly, inspection, repair, reassembly, servicing, operational checks, and functional testing associated with heavy-maintenance events.Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, avionics, hydraulic, fuel, engine, drivetrain, flight-control, and structural discrepancies using approved technical data.Perform inspections and repairs using applicable manufacturer maintenance manuals, Instructions for Continued Airworthiness, Airworthiness Directives, engineering data, STC data, and other approved or acceptable references.Complete work packages, task cards, discrepancy records, component records, and aircraft logbook entries accurately and timely.Verify required inspections, torque requirements, measurements, maintenance steps, and signoffs before closing assigned work.Verify part numbers, serial numbers, eligibility, condition, and required documentation before co...
