Procedure Surgery Scheduler

The Procedure Surgery Scheduler will: Coordinate and schedule surgeries, procedures, follow-up appointments, diagnostic testing, and other treatments.Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, facilities, and staff to ensure timely coordination of care.Obtain insurance authorizations and complete required preoperative, financial, and scheduling documentation.Arrange surgical logistics, including assistants, specialized equipment, and necessary materials.Provide patients with preoperative instructions and explain surgical and financial requirements.Submit patient information and medical records to facilities while maintaining confidentiality and compliance.Answer and direct phone calls, document messages, and maintain accurate patient records.Perform additional administrative and scheduling duties as assigned.
