Palletizes product for transit.
Reports directly to the Warehouse Supervisor and assists the Warehouse as needed and assigned.
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, Saturday (4AM-12:30PM) (Sundays and Friday Off) Essential Position Functions: Good production rate.Good attention to detail with high level of accuracy in all areas of work.Good attendance record, dependable workerPerform repetitious work accurately and with mental alertnessShift differential for swing and grave shifts Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Good attendance record, dependable workerKnowledge of food distributionBasic math skills testBasic English skills reading/writing/speaking Education & Experience: 6 months to 1-year experience in warehouse work, production, order selection, receiving, shipping, building pallet of products, shrink wrap pallets.Experience with safety procedures in a warehouse environmentForklift, pallet jack experienceMust be 18 years of age or olderSuccessfully complete criminal background check - no felonies in last 5 years Special Skills: Desire to contribute to a positive culture and be a member of a cohesive team.Desire to learn and advanceDrive to exceed the expectations of internal and external customers Physical Demands: Ability to reach, lift, stack, and maneuver objects of varying dimensions and weights up to 50 lbs.Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear and reach with hands and arms.Ability to frequently bend, stoop, twist, and turn in a safe manner.Exhibit manual dexterity and good hand/eye coordination to move freight.Work in freezer and cooler environments Work Environment: Warehouse environment, walking and riding on equipment.Constant temperature changes involving outside weather, refrigerated and freezer warehouse.
Supervision: This position has no direct Supervisory responsibility.This position receives Supervision and direction for all assignments.
