Government Affairs Coordinator
The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is seeking a Government Affairs Coordinator to provide operational support to the Government Affairs department by managing workflow tracking, coordinating assignments, and providing research and providing other operational administrative support.
This fulltime, Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm position is hybrid, with onsite requirements a handful of times a month or more at our office in Mendota Heights, Minnesota.
Government Affairs Operations and Administration Coordinate and track Government Affairs initiatives, including legislative, regulatory, accreditation, and contract-related activities, ensuring assignments, deadlines, and deliverables are completed on time.
Monitor project workflows, identify potential barriers, escalate concerns as appropriate, and support continuous improvement of departmental processes.
Facilitate communication and collaboration among internal stakeholders and external partners to support departmental goals and priorities.
Prepare status reports, meeting agendas, briefing materials, correspondence, and other Government Affairs documentation.
Coordinate department meetings and activities, including scheduling, logistics, meeting documentation, and follow-up on action items.
Maintain organized records, SharePoint sites, documentation repositories, tracking logs, and contract files to support reporting, compliance, and operational effectiveness.
Develop and maintain administrative procedures, templates, and documentation standards to enhance consistency and efficiency across department operations.
Research, Monitoring, and Tracking Maintain legislative, regulatory, accreditation, and contract tracking systems, databases, alerts, and monitoring tools.
Conduct research and gather information to support advocacy efforts, impact assessments, strategic initiatives, and special projects.
Monitor hearings, board meetings, proposed legislation, regulations, and other developments, providing timely updates and supporting documentation for leadership and stakeholders.
Miscellaneous Model and embrace ARRTs commitment of providing world-class customer service.
Participate in ongoing learning activities to improve job performance (e.g., goals, development plans, software training).
Communicate and collaborate with other staff members in a culture of continuous quality improvement.
Comfortable with routinely shifting demands.
Support organizational priorities through active participation in ARRT Projects as assigned.
Proactively manage and deliver assigned ARRT project work.
Perform other duties as assigned or modified as business needs dictate.
