Compliance Internship

PING is currently seeking students who have a combined passion fordata, sustainability, compliance, and the game of golf.

An opportunity exists to join ourCompliance teamfor a summer internship in 2027.

This position requires the candidate to reside in thePhoenix Metro Area.

High-level job duties include supporting the Compliance team incollecting, analyzing, and managing datato support packaging sustainability and regulatory compliance initiatives.

The intern will assist withExtended Producer Responsibility (EPR), EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR), packaging data analysis, regulatory research, compliance reporting, and process improvement.

Minimum qualifications include 2 years of accredited math or science coursework combined with general experience in and knowledge of golf.

Specific skills required for this internship are listed below: Strong data analysis and visualization skills, particularly usingExcel and Power BI.

Experience with R is a plus.Experience working with and managing structured datasets; familiarity withSQL Server and/or Azure SQLis preferred.Experience withdata preparation, data pipelines, and ETL processes; knowledge of Python is a plus.Strong familiarity withMicrosoft tools, particularly Excel and SharePoint.Experience with theMicrosoft Power Platform, including Power Automate and Power Apps, is strongly preferred.Understanding packaging materials, recyclability, recycled content, packaging data, and EPR reporting requirementsis a plus.Strongresearch, analytical, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills, with the ability to interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into actionable compliance activities.Enthusiastic about AI and eager to explore its applications (Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, and other large language models) Additional Information: A minimum of 2 years of college coursework must be completed by the time you begin your internshipYou must be willing to dedicate at least 8 weeks (40 hours per week) to the internshipThis internship requires you to be onsite in Phoenix, Arizona PING will be accepting applications through October 16 with interviews and final selections by year end.
