Patient Scheduling Representative - Family Medicine

Work Schedule:
Part-time, 90% FTE, day shift.

Monday- Friday within the 7:30 am - 5:30 pm, no weekend rotation required.

Hours may vary based upon operational needs of the clinic.

Pay:
Pay starts at $19.59 per hour, work experience that is relevant to the position will be taken into consideration when determining the starting base pay.

* We are seeking a Patient Scheduling Representative to:
Schedule appointments via phone, in-person or electronic correspondence.


* Take incoming phone calls from patients and their families to assist them with their appointment scheduling needs.


* Make outgoing phone calls to patients to schedule their appointments.


* Coordinate with clinic staff to ensure that patients receive appropriate care in a timely manner.

Qualifications



* No minimum education required.


* High School Diploma or equivalent Preferred


* Associate's Degree Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare, or other related field Preferred

Work Experience



* 6 months previous experience in an office or customer service environment Required


* Previous experience working in healthcare Preferred


* Previous experience scheduling of patients Preferred


* Previous experience with answering phones, greeting clients and customers in person Preferred
