Assistant Property Manager

Due to an internal transfer, SYNC CityCentre is seeking an experienced Assistant Property Manager to join our team! Candidates must have at least 2 years experience in the APM role at a Class A, Mid-Rise community with strong sales and customer service experience.

This position is required to work the 1st Saturday of each month (10am-5pm), MWF 9am-6pm, and rotating 10am-7pm shifts on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Valid Driver's License is required and will be confirmed during the pre-employment background check and drug screening process.

A Day in the Life of an Assistant Property Manager at SYNC Residential: Completing pre- and post- move out inspections to prepare service team for make ready process and residents for potential charges for any damagesPreparing Final Account Statements for former residents based on in-person inspectionsFiling and managing eviction proceedings when necessaryManaging resident inquiries, concerns, and complaintsContacting residents through multiple means of communication to manage rent collection and delinquencyHandling key management for scheduled vendors, site visits, and unit inspectionsAssisting with management tasks as needed by the Property ManagerProcessing accounting activities such as entering purchase orders and vendor invoicesPlanning and participating in resident eventsWalking the property to ensure lease compliance and sending our violations accordinglyCompleting daily, weekly, and monthly close out reporting Job Description: Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned.

Essential Duties:Assist the Property Manager in all aspects of daily property operations, including full operational responsibility in the event of the absence of the Property Manager.

Performs the function of a Leasing Consultant as required by the needs of the property.

This is a line position with a direct impact on company funds.

This position requires the ability to work on weekends and work overtime when requested.

Completes accounting and bookkeeping tasks, prepares monthly close-out and financial reports, collects rent, fees, and other payments, completes bank deposits, dispositions, and account reconciliations, and uses the property management software to record, track, and report on all financial workings of the community.Ensures the accurate and efficient completion of lease and application paperwork, and all daily activity including move-ins, move-outs, lease renewals, and notices.Manages resident move-in and move-out processes, including handling paperwork, evaluating applicants, and explaining policies.Maintains all account records and transactions including NSF's, rent allowances, concessions, rent increases, and other management-approved debits and credits.Ensures timely collection of all ...
