This position will be responsible for keeping the Project Manager informed on all financial aspects of each project including the status of the job versus budget, profitability, labor efficiency, invoicing and accounts receivable.

In addition, this position will have direct interaction with customers to assist the Project Manager with invoicing questions and additional information request to support invoices.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Review the initial scope of work with the Project Manager to understand any project specific requirementsMeet with key customer contact(s) at start of job to establish communication streamEnsure proper set up initial work orderGenerate weekly invoices for each work order and review with Project ManagerAnalyze project invoicing for time recording, or material purchase issues before submitting to customerFinalize invoices with any changes from Project Manager or issue identified when analyzing the project and submit to customerReview and assist Project Mangers with outstanding receivablesProvide Controller bi-weekly cash forecastEvaluate all Business Processes and make suggestions for improvementsAs part of month-end financial close, provide Controller with analysis of projects that closed ahead of budget and over budgetAnalyzing sub-contractor and material markups against proposal and identify any discrepanciesAnalyzing the cause of the material project variancesPositive upbeat personalityCommunication skillsAbility to constantly shifting priorities Ability to handle interruptionsAbility to explain and educate in simple and polite mannerMeet deadlines under pressureAnalytical skillsComputer skillsMulti-taskingCustomer / Client Service Safety and Environmental Responsibilities Follow SHM Safety and Environmental rules and complete required related trainingWear proper personal protective equipment as required for the task or work areaReport all accidents, injuries, spills and near misses immediately Technical and Physical Requir...
