Job Description:

DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a(n) Director, Retirement, located in New Brunswick, NJ, United States.

The Director, Retirement is a key leader within HR Total Rewards, responsible for shaping and delivering retirement programs that attract, retain , and support a highly talented workforce.

This role provides strategic direction for retirement plan design, governance, compliance, financial management , communications, and vendor oversight, while ensuring programs remain competitive, compliant, and aligned with business objectives .

This is an exciting opportunity to influence the future of employee financial wellbeing during a transformative period for DePuy Synthes.

The Director will partner closely with HR, Finance, Legal, and business leaders to enhance the employee experience, drive operational excellence, and advance a modern retirement strategy that supports organizational growth and employee success.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, administration, and continuous improvement of U.S.

retirement and savings programs.
• Develop retirement strategies that support talent attraction, retention, employee wellbeing, and business objectives.
• Ensure retirement plans comply with all applicable federal, state, and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee relationships with plan administrators, recordkeepers, trustees, consultants, and other retirement vendors.
• Partner with Finance, Legal, Payroll, and HR stakeholders on retirement plan governance, reporting, and risk management.
• Direct retirement plan communications and employee education initiatives to improve awareness and engagement.
• Monitor market trends, legislative developments, and competitive practices to inform program enhancements.
• Establish and track key performance indicators, operational metrics, and service delivery standards.
• Manage plan audits, fiduciary reviews, regulatory filings, and compliance documentation.
