Johnson & Johnson MedTech is seeking a Staff Electrical Engineer - R&D Surgical Robotics for its Cincinnati, OH location.

Key Responsibilities:



* Work with internal and external teams to develop capital surgical and support equipment.


* Design, layout, fabricate, bring-up, debug, test, document and release complex PCBAs for medical grade products, capital and support equipment.


* Develop, debug, integrate and release firmware and embedded micro-code as needed.


* Identify, prototype and develop existing and novel sensor solutions in support of the development of complex surgical instruments.


* Collaborate across internal organizations and external partners as part of a multi-functional technical team.


* Develop detailed product requirements, engineering specifications, system architecture, detailed component specifications, verification and validation test protocols and reports.


* Bring-up, debug and Integrate electronics subsystems and manage dependencies across the system.
