Essential Responsibilities


* Provide compassionate, person-centered care in accordance with each resident's individual care plan.


* Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.


* Assist with transfers, ambulation, positioning, and other mobility needs while maintaining resident safety.


* Measure and record vital signs and promptly report changes in residents' conditions to licensed nursing staff.


* Answer call lights promptly and respond to resident needs in a timely and respectful manner.


* Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.


* Promote residents' dignity, privacy, independence, comfort, and overall well-being.


* Communicate effectively with residents, families, and members of the interdisciplinary care team.


* Follow infection control procedures, facility policies, and applicable state and federal regulations.


* Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.


* Collaborate with licensed nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality resident care.

Qualifications


* Required: Current and valid California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.


* Previous experience in skilled nursing, post-acute care, or long-term care preferred.


* New CNAs are welcome to apply!
