About You
In one of our supply chain roles, you’ll focus on winning with consumers and the market, while putting safety, mutual respect, and human dignity at the centre. Job responsibilities include:
* Support the development, deployment and continuous improvement of Arbex’s global Industrial Hygiene strategy, standards, tools, risk reduction plans and performance targets.
* Lead and coordinate IH risk assessment activities across sites, including exposure to noise, enzymes, hazardous materials, heat stress, ergonomic stressors, biological agents and other workplace health hazards.
* Develop, maintain and support implementation of global IH standards and guidance, ensuring alignment with applicable legal requirements, industry practice and Arbex expectations.
* Ensure exposure monitoring data is collected, reviewed, analysed and used to inform risk decisions, corrective actions, assurance activities and leadership reporting.
* Build IH competence across site EHS teams, OH professionals and business stakeholders
* Provide technical IH support for incidents, exposure concerns and investigations, including root cause analysis, corrective action planning and verification of controls.
* Partner with Engineering, Operations and EHS teams to integrate IH requirements into design reviews, new facilities, process changes, ventilation systems and capital projects.
* Support prioritisation of IH-related capital investment and ensure funding is directed to effective controls that reduce exposure risk and support business objectives.
* Conduct or support periodic IH assessments and audits to evaluate programme maturity, identify gaps, escalate t risks and recommend improvement actions.
To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications/ experience:
* Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health, EHS, Engineering or related technical qualification; advanced IH qualification or certification CIH, ROH, BOHS, MSc in Occupational Hygiene, or equivalent qualifications as preferred.
