LANDLORD LIAISON

Position Summary This position oversees serves as the primary liaison between LMHA and property owners, landlords, real estate stakeholders, and community housing partners.

This role is responsible for increasing landlord participation, strengthening customer service, supporting leasing and occupancy goals, managing inspection coordination quality, and leading community-wide landlord engagement events and initiatives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Team Leadership Responsible for scheduling, processing, and documenting inspections across HCV and PBV programs.

Monitor productivity and ensure timely completion of inspections.

Assist with the development of standard operating procedures for inspections, communication, and landlord customer service.

Monitor and ensure quality communication and responsiveness to landlords.

Landlord Engagement & Relationship Management Serve as the primary point of contact for landlords participating in LMHAs voucher programs.

Build relationships with landlords, property managers, developers, and real estate organizations.

Assist landlords with navigating inspection requirements, HQS/NSPIRE standards, repairs, leasing processes, and program rules.

Identify and address barriers to landlord participation; develop solutions to increase satisfaction and reduce turnover.

Respond to escalated landlord concerns and provide conflict resolution support.

Ensure landlords receive clear, timely communication regarding inspections and program requirements.

Community-Wide Landlord Engagement Initiatives Plan, coordinate, and host community-wide landlord engagement events including quarterly forums, landlord orientations, and annual appreciation events.

Organize outreach initiatives to expand LMHAs landlord network and improve program visibility.

Engage real estate associations, property management groups, and local housing organizations.

Collect landlord feedback and implement strategies to improve program satisfaction.

Represent LMHA at community meetings, housing summits, and other public engagement events.

Operational Oversight & Program Support Monitor inspection outcomes, failed inspection trends, abatement risks, and landlord service metrics.

Collaborate with HCV and PBV teams to support utilization and leasing goals.

Prepare reports on landlord engagement activity, inspection coordination, and performance indicators.

Ensure timely follow-up on reinspection deadlines, failed inspections, and landlord action items.

Work closely with Program Integrity regarding landlord compliance, fraud referrals, and documentation issues.

Policy & Compliance Ensure all landlord engagement and inspections operations comply with HUD regulations, CFR Title 24, LMHA MTW, and Administrative Plan.

Monitor adherence to HQS/NSPIRE standards and rent reasonableness policies.
