Production Technician
Job Title Production Technician Classification Non-Exempt Reports to Production Manager Date November 1st, 2017 Job Description Summary FIRST RF is seeking a self-motivated and detail-oriented Production Technician to join our Production team.

As a Production Technician, you will be responsible for using components and parts to produce world-class RF systems and antennas.
Key Responsibilities Study work instructions, drawing, travelers, test procedures, and parts lists; gather parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials to prepare assembly workPosition parts and subassemblies by using templates, fixtures or test measurement equipmentAssemble components by examining parts and assemblies for correct fit in addition to fastening parts and subassembliesResolve assembly problems and notify the Quality Assurance team of known issuesComply with procedures, rules, and regulations to maintain a safe and clean working environmentAnticipate needed supplies and submit requests for additional supplies from Production PlannersDocument actions by completing production travelers and reworking travelers as requiredContribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks Qualifications Required Education and Experience Must have U.S.
citizenship and ability to obtain a U.S.
Security ClearanceHigh school diploma or FEDValid Colorado drivers license1 year of manufacturing experienceExperience using inspection and power toolsPossess a strong focus on safety compliance, quality, and accuracyProficient in Microsoft OfficeGood judgement and decision-makingAbility to learn and complete training quickly Preferred Education and Experience J-STD-001 Solder CertificationKnowledge in Standard Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) practices Other Duties Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position at 40 hours per week.
Typical office hours include Monday-Friday, 6:30am-5pm; however, these hours may vary based on workload and the managers discretion.
This job may require more than 40 hours of work per week as the need arises.
Travel No travel is expected for this position.
Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
The employee will also regularly be seated at a desk and using a computer.
