View Point Health Job Title: Accounts Receivable Associate Job Code: FIT020/Accounting Technician 1 Shift: Full-Time (40 hours per week on average) Job Hours: Day: 40 hours - Monday through Friday; 8:00am 5:00pm Base Location: Headquarters Lawrenceville, GA.

Division/Department/Program: Business Services Under supervision, performs routine Accounts Receivable accounting functions, including but not limited preparation for creating and sending customer invoices; and maintaining related Excel summaries and supporting documentation.

Apply customer payments, research/resolve customer issues, and provide internal and external customer support Duties & Responsibilities: Prepare, verify, and process invoicesPosting payments timely and accurate to accountsMonitor and collect accounts receivablesDeposit payment to bank accountGenerate various accounts receivable/cash flow reportsAssist with the month-end closing processAssist with developing and implementing improvements to the accounts receivable processAssist with audit related to accounts receivable Minimum Qualifications: Associate's degree in a business curriculum or related field from an accredited college or university OR high school diploma or GED AND two years of experience performing accounting and/or fiscal control functions.

Preferred Qualifications: Minimum 2 years Accounts Receivable experienceExperience with ERP systems for example Sage, Oracle, SAP, or other accounting systems.Strong PC skills including proficiency in Excel.Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to communicate with various levels of management and staff.Decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical skills.Strong organizational and prioritization skills and ability to multi-task.

Requirements/Competencies: Must be able to stand from a kneeling or sitting position without using your hands (Certification Requirement).Must be able to stand, sit, and kneel for long periods of time.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, move about, hear and speak.Must be able to lift 20 pounds.Must be able to respond quickly to sounds.Must have valid Georgia drivers license and Motor Vehicle Record in accordance with company policy.Candidates for selection must pass a criminal background check (including fingerprinting)Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and subject to random drug screens.Any combination of training and experience would have enabled the applicant to acquire the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities.
