You will report directly to our Software Engineer Manager, and you'll work out of our Pittsford, NY or Atlanta, GA location on a Hybrid work schedule.

We are seeking a skilled software engineer with a strong background in automation and orchestration, along with a passion for enhancing developer experience, to join our Cloud Solutions group.

In this role, you will build internal platforms, developer tooling, CI/CD systems, automation frameworks, and engineering workflows that enable product teams to deliver software faster and more reliably.

The ideal candidate is self-directed, able to navigate ambiguity, and capable of driving technical initiatives with minimal supervision.

This role requires collaboration with a global team to support our Azure-hosted security products and platforms.

The person in this position will work closely with the engineering team throughout all stages of product development.

The contributions of this role will be vital in ensuring the highest levels of reliability, availability, and performance as demanded by our customers who rely on our advanced physical security solutions.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU WILL DO:


* Lead initiatives to improve developer productivity, deployment reliability, and engineering efficiency across multiple product teams.


* Develop tools to enhance the full development process from design to production.


* Measure and improve engineering productivity and satisfaction.


* Relentlessly prioritize delivery speed and reliability to drive engineering efficiency across the team.


* Design, build, and evolve CI/CD platforms leveraging Jenkins, Kubernetes, and cloud-native technologies.


* Design and maintain infrastructure as code to guarantee consistent and efficient continuous delivery across various environments for a SaaS solution.


* Troubleshoot and resolve deployment issues across both development and production environments.


* Leverage data and metrics to support decision making.


* Build operational maturity through automation.
