Licensed Pharmacy Technician Per Diem

Responsibilities Perform all pharmacy technician duties assigned by the manager, lead and/or licensed pharmacist.
Pull, pack and label medications according to the instruction generated on the labels and in accordance with standards of pharmacy practice.
Prepare medication for shipment.
Take ongoing inventory; check in drugs and supplies and stock shelves.
Check and remove outdated medications on a routine basis to ensure that no expired medications are in stock.
Keep records appropriate.
Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Continue to educate by attending drug in-services and by keeping up with policy changes.
Clean and help maintain equipment and work areas according to prescribed methods.
Perform other duties as requested Qualifications H.S.
diploma or equivalent Licensed Pharmacy Technician Certified Pharmacy Technician a plus Accurate medication and generic knowledge Strong written and oral communication skills Ability to work independently Ability to stand for long periods of time, walk, bend, and crouch frequently.
Ability to perform light lifting (up to 10 pounds) and repetitious physical activity.
