Position Overview

The Crusher Foreman will be responsible for maintaining the crusher and conveyers.

Wage Range: $26 to $32 per hour dependent on experience.

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)


* Operate basic computer functions, such as production reports and time entry.


* Ability to travel and work with a team.


* Inspect equipment prior to operation for any safety or maintenance issues.


* Perform routine maintenance on the crusher and converyers.


* Create and maintain a safe working environment and lead a team.


* Follow verbal and written instructions


* Other duties as assisgned

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Education/Experience


* High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred


* Six months to one year of experience as a crusher operator or similar role.

Work Requirements


* Must be 18 years in age or older.


* Must pass pre-employment physical, drug screen and criminal background check.


* Report to work dressed appropriately and ready to begin work at the designated start time.


* Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.


* Willingness to work independently within in a team environment and assist the team with other duties as required.

Knowledge/Skill Requirements


* Knowledge of the production and aggregate needs.



* Demonstrate an ability to work with others.


* Demonstrate comfort in communicating with others to complete tasks.



* Ability to observe safety and security procedures.


* Ability to be self-sufficient and perform tasks and duties without immediate supervision.


* Demonstrate ability to wear and use proper PPE at all times.


* Maintain time and material records.

* Frequent standing, walking, reaching and climbing


* Frequent sitting and operating computers and heavy equipment/loader.


* Position will occasionally require climbing of ladders and steps.


* The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

If lifting more than 50lbs, must have a second person assisting.
