Position Overview

This is a skilled position involving the safe and efficient operation of cement bulkers.

Drivers will cement and other materials to inter-company locations.

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)


* Operate cement tanker deliveries to job sites.


* Drive cement tanker to supply terminals to pick up product and return to designated plants for unloading.


* Assemble loading and unloading tubes.


* In the event of a cement spill, assist in clean up.


* Clean truck after loading and delivery to prevent cement from hardening on truck and trailer.


* Spray surfaces of truck with acid compound to clean truck and trailer in accordance with company standards


* Perform other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience


* High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Certificates, License, Registrations


* Must possess a valid state commercial driver's license (CDL) Class A with appropriate endorsements.


* Must possess a valid Medical Card as per DOT standard.

Work Requirements


* One to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience


* Incident free driving record preferred


* May be subject drug and alcohol, medical exams and physical agilities testing.

Knowledge/Skill Requirements


* Ability to communicate using two-way radio.


* Basic math


* Basic computer skills preferred
