This is a role well suited for a highly motivated student looking to build their skill set and gain hands-on experience.

As a Nuclear Engineering Co-Op, you will be responsible for:


* Using radiation sourcestocollect data from detector systems for the purpose of testingdetector,collimator, or shieldingtechnologies


* Developingcode to process and analyze that data to answer specific technical questions


* Developing mechanical or electrical test fixturesand/or sub-assembliestoenable the testing of detector or collimator technologies


* Developingalgorithms or analysis methods to aid in the technical investigationof detector or collimator technologies


* Presentingyourdevelopment activities, in-process work items,resultsand discussionin aprofessional manner toengineering staff and management

Required skills and education to have for the success of this role:


* Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program, majoring in Engineering, Physics, or Medical Physics (rising junior or senior preferred)


* Minimum 3.0 GPA (preferred)


* Registered and eligible to participate in a co-op through your university
