Job Description:

DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a Senior Director, GBS Strategy & Business Development, based in Bogotá, Colombia.

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate its Orthopedics business to establish DePuy Synthes as a standalone company.

The planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, regulatory approvals, and other customary conditions.

Following the transaction, the successful candidate is expected to become an employee of DePuy Synthes and transition to its employment programs, policies, and benefit plans.

The Opportunity

Reporting directly to the Head of Global Business Services (GBS), this role will drive the continued evolution and expansion of GBS as a strategic enterprise partner.

The Senior Director will identify new opportunities to grow the GBS portfolio, expand services, and create enterprise value through process simplification, standardization, automation, digital innovation, and operating model transformation.

Working across functions, regions, and markets, this leader will assess work that could be delivered more effectively through GBS and develop compelling business cases to bring those opportunities to life.

This is a highly visible individual contributor role that combines strategy, business development, consulting, and transformation leadership.

Success requires strong commercial acumen, enterprise thinking, executive influence, and the ability to convert ideas into scalable capabilities that deliver measurable business outcomes.

The role has no direct people management responsibilities.
