Senior AI Developer

(Location: Dublin or Cork)

As a Senior AI Developer you will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing scalable software solutions that power next-generation AI-native applications and enterprise platforms.

This role combines strong software engineering expertise with hands-on experience in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and Large Language Models (LLMs), enabling the development of robust systems that support intelligent workflows, data processing, model integration, automation, and AI-assisted decision making.

The successful candidate will work closely with Product Managers, Data Scientists, ML Engineers, and Platform Engineers to deploy and operate enterprise-grade AI solutions that are secure, scalable, and production-ready.

You will:


* Design, develop, and maintain AI-powered enterprise applications and services.


* Build scalable platforms that support the next generation of AI-native enterprise tooling.


* Implement intelligent workflows, AI-assisted automation, and conversational experiences.


* Integrate commercial and open-source Large Language Models (LLMs) into enterprise applications.


* Build scalable backend systems for model integration, orchestration, and data processing.

Here's what we are looking for with this role:

Essential Requirements:


* 5+ years of software engineering experience (Python, .NET Core, RESTful APIs, Blazor).


* 2+ years of hands-on experience building and deploying AI-enabled applications (LLMs, RAG, MPC, Prompt Engineering, Conversational AI).


* Experience delivering enterprise-grade AI solutions into production environments.


* Proven ability to work across engineering, product, and business teams.


* Experience building AI-powered applications beyond proof-of-concept stage.

Desirable:


* Experience with advanced AI/ML technologies, including machine learning frameworks, statistical modelling techniques, LLM fine-tuning, RAG/Graph RAG architectures.


* Experience with modern cloud, data, and engineering practices, including Docker and containerization, CI/CD pipelines, Databricks, SSIS, Power BI integration.
