ESG Reporting & Controller Associate
The ESG Reporting & Controller function is primarily focused on ensuring the accuracy, integrity and timeliness of the firm's sustainability and climate-related reporting.
As an ESG Reporting & Controller Associate within the ESG Reporting & Controller function, you will ensure the accuracy, integrity and timeliness of the firm's sustainability and climate-related reporting.
Job Responsibilities
* Execute reporting and analytics of sector-specific portfolio carbon intensity based on JPMorganChase Carbon Compass Methodology supporting the firm's carbon intensity reduction targets.
* Supports production of the Energy Supply Financing Ratio (ESFR), measuring the Firm's financing of low- and zero-carbon energy supply activities relative to high-carbon activities.
* Contribute requirements to enhance and automate existing processes with a control mindset partnering with product delivery teams and technology
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting
* 3+ years of related experience
* Strong understanding of emission reporting and wholesale banking products
* Excellent desktop/spreadsheet/database skills
* Experience with business intelligence tools, and Databricks
* Able to build and maintain partnerships across Line of Business and Corporate Functions
* Strong analytical skills: Ability to quickly understand workings of a complex reporting and large data sets across the infrastructure and their interrelationships and dependencies
* Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgement, initiative and appropriate prioritization
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Able to multi-task in a constantly changing environment
* Able to critically challenge with the goal of identifying control issues
