We are seeking an energetic and collaborative Patient Financial Counselor.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing day-to-day follow-ups with patients for upcoming appointments to determine insurance coverage, patient costs, and payment options.

This position will train in our Hendersonville Clinic located at 100 Springhouse Ct #240, Hendersonville, TN 37075.

Print routing sheets and document estimated costs in the practice management system and the pre-service estimation worksheet.
Place phone calls to patients to obtain pre-payment, establish acceptable payment arrangements, and/or acquire information necessary to receive payment from insurance or other sources on all procedures/surgeries.
Notify the Billing Manager when appropriate financial arrangements per the patient liability policy cannot be made before the patient is treated for services.
Adhere to best practice standards in performing day-to-day follow-up This includes the following procedures outlined in the Patient Liability Policies.
