Regional Philanthropy Associate
Position Summary The Regional Philanthropy Associate plays a critical role in advancing Loveland Centers mission by increasing visibility, stewarding relationships, and producing impactful fundraising and outreach events.
This position combines donor relations, community outreach, event planning, sales and marketing into one dynamic role, helping build an inclusive and connected community for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD).
The Regional Philanthropy Associate is also responsible for the stewardship and cultivation of a portfolio of 100+ donors and community members, stewarding individuals that donate up to $5,000 annually, ensuring consistent engagement and movement along the donor pipeline.
Duties and Responsibilities Community Engagement & Advocacy Act as an ambassador for Loveland Center by attending civic, chamber, nonprofit, and social events to build awareness and relationships.
Schedule and deliver presentations to schools, civic groups, faith communities, and local organizations to promote Lovelands mission.
Cultivate and steward community stakeholders, sponsors, and donors through regular touchpoints, meetings, and updates.
Research and build strategic alliances and partnerships to amplify Lovelands reach and impact.
Serve as the community liaison for all third-party events.
Willingness to work flexible hours to accommodate the needs of the job that might include night, weekends and/or holidays.
Event Planning & Execution Assist with planning, organizing, and executing 1-2 major events in coordination with the Event and Volunteer Coordinator (ex.
Golf Tournament, BBQ, 5K) and additional minor events (donor/volunteer appreciation, open houses, program parties, third party events).
Oversee event ticket sales and sponsorships.
Assist with on-site event management, including setup, coordination, volunteer oversight, and troubleshooting.
Conduct post-event evaluations and prepare event reports tracking sponsorships, attendance, revenue, expenses, and feedback.
Manage communications for events and outreach efforts.
Marketing & Communications Collaborate with the Philanthropy Team to create engaging marketing collateral for events, donor campaigns, and outreach (flyers, newsletters, press releases).
Curate participant stories, event photos, and program highlights for newsletters, social media, blogs, and donor impact reports.
Ensure consistency of messaging in all marketing and outreach efforts.
