Project Manager - BAS/BMS
Join our dynamic team as a Project Manager - BAS/BMS and lead Building Automation System (BAS) and Building Management System (BMS) projects that deliver exceptional outcomes for our customers.
In this role, you will oversee service, retrofit, upgrade, and controls projects while partnering with customers, technicians, engineers, subcontractors, and leadership teams to drive safety, quality, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
We are seeking a strong project leader who can effectively manage people, schedules, budgets, and project risks while supporting the delivery of complex building automation and HVAC control solutions.
What will you do?
The Project Manager - BAS/BMS is responsible for achieving project objectives while ensuring customer satisfaction and financial performance.
This individual works closely with customers, service teams, engineering resources, and leadership to define project goals, develop execution plans, and successfully deliver projects from initiation through closeout.
Key Responsibilities
* Responsible for meeting scope, schedule, quality, and budget commitments throughout the project lifecycle.
* Lead project planning activities and develop execution strategies that ensure successful project delivery.
* Manage project financials, forecasting, cost control, billing, and profitability.
* Implement and enforce change management processes for scope, schedule, resources, and budget adjustments.
* Coordinate internal resources and external partners to support project execution.
* Manage subcontractors and vendors to ensure high-quality deliverables and on-time completion.
* Monitor project progress and proactively identify risks, issues, and opportunities.
* Facilitate timely resolution and escalation of project issues when necessary.
* Partner with customers to maintain strong relationships and ensure overall project satisfaction.
* Coordinate project commissioning, turnover, and closeout activities.
* Prepare and deliver final project documentation and ensure project completion requirements are met.
* Review project deliverables and maintain accurate project records and reporting.
* Provide regular project status updates to leadership and stakeholders.

* This position reports to the Senior Project Manager.
What skills and capabilities will make you successful?
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
* Minimum of 2 years of experience managing Building Automation Systems (BAS/BMS), HVAC controls, industrial automation, construction, service, or related technical projects.
* Proven experience managing project schedules, budgets, contracts, and customer relationships.
