Core responsibilities include:



* Responsible for coordinating and facilitating pre-close meetings, quarterly balance sheet reviews, and financial statement reviews for Finance Director (FD)


* Budget vs Actuals creation, alignment and coordination for commentary and approval


* Responsible for approving the " actuals" submission


* Analyse financial statements to ensure completeness, accuracy, and validity of numbers.


* Face of GS and Accounting Lead for actuals (US GAAP); be the connection between Business Unit Finance(BUF) and GS Account to Report (A2R) Process teams


* Influence and work closely with BUF, and A2R teams on joint goals and objectives Lead/participate in GS process improvement and other global/local projects


* Provide support to resolve complex or aged A2R issues (US GAAP)


* For CFM processes, ensure SOX complience is followed in order to achieve " adequate" internal and external audit ratings; Identify and quantify financial and operational risks and opportunities.
