Position Title: Pharmaceutical Distribution Intern

Position Overview:

The Pharmaceutical Distribution Intern will play a vital role in supporting the distribution of Johnson & Johnson pharmaceuticals at our facility through a variety of operational and supply chain-related projects.

This position is designed to provide hands-on experience and professional growth opportunities for students looking to build a career in supply chain management and distribution operations.

Key Responsibilities:


* Continuous Improvement Projects: Assist in driving continuous improvement initiatives through Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.

This includes participating in cost improvement projects and implementing strategies to optimize supply chain processes.


* Inventory and Operations Management: Help track critical supply inventory levels and monitor operational metrics.

The intern will gain exposure to inventory management on a site, regional, and global scale, providing valuable insights into the complexities of pharmaceutical distribution.


* Systems Experience: Gain hands-on experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, and Quality Management Systems (QMS).

The candidate will learn how to leverage these tools to enhance operational efficiency and ensure compliance with industry standards.


* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with multiple departments and business partners, including Quality Assurance, Transportation, and Safety, to understand the full scope of distribution operations and ensure alignment with company goals.


* Operational Analysis: Conduct detailed analyses of the movement of people, processes, and products throughout the distribution center.
