Position: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
Employment Type: Part-Time / PRN
Pay Rate: $42.00-$45.00 per hour

Join Our Rehabilitation Team!

Moraga Post Acute is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team on a Part-Time/PRN basis.

The COTA will work alongside Occupational Therapists and the interdisciplinary care team to provide quality, resident-centered therapy services that help residents improve their independence, functional abilities, and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities


* Provide occupational therapy services under the direction and supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.


* Assist residents with activities designed to improve strength, coordination, mobility, and independence.


* Implement individualized treatment plans based on residents' needs and goals.


* Document treatment sessions accurately and timely.


* Monitor resident progress and communicate observations to the Occupational Therapist and care team.


* Provide education and support to residents and caregivers as appropriate.


* Maintain compliance with facility policies, regulatory requirements, and professional standards.


* Promote a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for residents.

Qualifications


* Current COTA certification and applicable state licensure/registration.


* Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.


* Previous experience in a skilled nursing or post-acute setting preferred.


* Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.


* Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the interdisciplinary team.
