PCS AREA MANAGER

TITLE: PCS Area Director REPORTS TO: Personal Care Services Director MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Has history of successful employment in an office setting, including use of office machines and computers.

Must have typing and word processing skills.Must possess multi-tasking skills.Is a high school graduate or has received a GED certificate.

An associate degree, other college level education or graduation from a business college is preferred.Experience in home health and knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.Has satisfactory employment and personal references.Is self-directed and can work effectively with minimal supervision.Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state and/or agency requirements and is in good working order.

SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Perform assistance with all projects assigned by the PCS Director and/or VP of Home and Community Based Services to oversee required activities of all Office Coordinators and Office clerks.

Work under limited supervision with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES To organize and supervise/executing training to all clerical personnel and newly hired personnel.To conduct audits of all offices to include member charts, forms, logs, and any other item that PCS Director and/or VP of HCBS may require.

Including spot checking OC and clerks for unstaffed notes, and schedules in authenticare.To maintain a record of all reports given to the PCS Director and/or VP of HCBS.To oversee compliance of clerical staff, including Area Managers.To oversee staffing of members.To assist all departments in terms of HR, Billing, Payroll, Accounting, and IT in all issues related to the performance of the Office Coordinators and Clerks.To communicate all administrative directives to Clerical Staff as needed.To conduct employee evals for all OC and clerks.Travel to the offices for training purposes or if staff changes are needed.Review and sign all petty cash forms.Provide coaching, disciplinary actions or terminations to OC, Clerks and PCAs.Research and correct any payroll issues for your branches.If OC is unable to perform PCA hiring and orientations Area Director will provide this action.Prepare and hold an OC/Clerk meeting WEEKLY.Termination and change of status forms for any OC or Clerk.Educate the offices on any changes made by state for compliance or at the direction of the PCS Director.Monitor monthly office EVV system/rates and address necessary corrective action.Ensure compliance with missing and expired documents.Working up bonuses and submitting for approval to Director of PCS/ VP HCBS.Management of all VAD wage forms, on call google voice, Monthly VS billed, all VAD issues as they arise.Review and over see increased Staffing percentages weekly.

WORKING CONDITIONS General OfficeOvernight travel may be required.
