Distribution Forklift Operator

Purpose: A Distribution Forklift Operator safely operates industrial equipment (e.g., sit-down or stand-up forklifts) to load, unload, move, and stack merchandise.

They play a vital role in supply chain operations by tracking inventory, preparing orders, and maintaining a hazard-free work environment.

Essential Functions: Required but not limited to: Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery to transport goods.Shipping & Receiving: Load and unload trailers and trucks, ensuring goods are properly secured, wrapped, and organized.Inventory Management: Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track stock, verify counts, and conduct routine cycle counts.Safety & Compliance: Perform pre-shift equipment inspections and adhere to strict OSHA and company safety guidelines.Warehouse Maintenance: Keep aisles clear of debris and maintain a clean charging and fueling station.+
